Help support our Government funding application for a playground in the gardens

Lucky us!! We have been shortlisted for funding from NSW State Government for the construction of an all-abilities playground in the gardens, and we need your support by voting for our playground.
At a cost of nearly $200,000 the playground will be one of the best in Bowral.

The most popular project, as voted by the community, will receive funding

Proposed Playground

The proposed all inclusive playground has a clever design for small children of all abilities with comfortable adult seating and shade while you watch over the children. The botanic gardens are an easy walk from Bowral, East Bowral and Burradoo, with a bike track running right past the front gates. Plenty of parking is available.

What will be in the playground?
Set within an area of rubber surfacing and woodchip, the playground will include: an adventure tower with slide, climbing walls, vertical net and explorer panel, a play village with lookout, climbing wheel, crawling tunnel, a swing set with baby pod, toddler and junior seats, springer face to face seat, a play bench, log steppers, talk tubes and play panel chimes. Alongside the playground will be a number of adult friendly benches.
The entire playground will be covered with a shade sail to ensure children can play safely out of the sun.
