You can donate a commemorative bench as a thoughtful and distinctive way to recognise a special person or occasion. Your bench will provide a place to gather and celebrate a special life event or simply provide a place to remember amid the growing and peaceful environment of of the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens.

Your bench will feature a commemorative plaque to celebrate a life event or honour the memory of someone special. Your donation is greatly appreciated and will assist supporting the Gardens.

Donation Options

a) Donation of $5,000: your loved one or special event will be acknowledged on a bench for a minimum of 10 years. Includes installation and plaque.
b) Donation of $10,000: your loved one or special event will be acknowledged on a seat for a generation.  The plaques are guaranteed to remain on the seat (or replacement if needed) for a minimum of 20 years. Includes installation and plaque.

The Gardens will discuss possible locations and you may choose one of these locations for your bench to be placed. The plaques are guaranteed to remain on the seat for a minimum of 10 years. At the end of the donation period, the SHBG will endeavour to contact you to determine whether you would like to renew your donation or have the plaque returned to you.
