Become a volunteer and help us create a garden legacy for future generations. There are many ways you can volunteer in our gardens including:

  • Practical gardening
  • Nursery operations and sales
  • Join the plant growers group
  • Become a guide for the gardens
  • Help with our education programs

To become a volunteer complete the online registration form, then come along to one of our weekly Tuesday working bees where you will be inducted and introduced to our other volunteers.

Working bees

Held every Tuesday, 9am to 11am December to February and 10am – 12 noon March to November.
You must be a registered volunteer to join the working bees.

Plant Growers Group

Propagates and grows on plants for sale throughout the year for the garden, nursery and special plant sales.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month.

Photographs

From time to time we take photos of our activities which may include images of our friends and visitors. We like to use these photos on our web site and elsewhere as publicity, but obviously it would be impracticable to obtain releases from every individual who may appear in a photo. However if you would prefer not to appear in any photo published in this way, just let us know.
