Playground now open

Our all abilities playground is now open for the enjoyment of Highlands residents and visitors to the district. Funded by a state government grant under the NSW Government My Community Project the playground opened in mid June, 2020.

The playground is open from 9am to 5pm daily, summer and winter.

When you visit the playground please be aware it is a community playground with no Council funding. We would appreciate your help in looking after the playground, and report any issues to us. In respect of recycling and reduced waste, we ask you take everything you bring with you when you leave, including any rubbish.

Please note the toilets in the garden are currently not open due to Corona-virus issues.

What is in the playground?

Set within an area of rubber surfacing and mulch, the playground includes: an adventure tower with slide, climbing walls, vertical net and explorer panel, a play village with lookout, climbing wheel, crawling tunnel, a swing set with baby pod, toddler and junior seats, springer face to face seat, a play bench,  talk tubes and play panel chimes.
